SCOPE: Transport from Europe to Japan of 33 MPs and TPs and Installation Offshore (MPs and TPs) in Akita and Noshiro (Japan)

Project management, risk interfaces. Responsible for early phase concept engineering to full mechanical completion. Preparation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, emergency response plans and safe working procedures. Implementation of requirements from MLIT during and before construction phase. Lead client approval and project certification by Japanese Class-NK.

Albatros Project – North Sea

ROLE: Lead roject Engineer for TP installation

SCOPE: Installation of TPs and ACs with Sea Installer (A2Sea, Deme Offshore)

Vessel planning, daily progress reports and PtW applications. Responsible for early phase concept engineering to full mechanical completion. Preparation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, emergency response plans and safe working procedures. Implementation of German SchuSiKo during and before construction phase. Daily site coordination, planning, reporting and managing multidisciplinary subcontractors

Development of Noise Mitigation Concepts for German Waters (DBBC and NMS). Responsibility for design and fabrication of sea- fastening and installation tools for
MP, TP and AC installation. Preparation of installation method statements and risk assessments. Creation of deck-layouts and lifting plans.

SCOPE: Innovation Mobilization

Lead engineer for sea-fastening and installation tools for HLJV Innovation in Vlissingen Netherlands. Managing subcontractors on vessel (steel fabricator, hydraulics, special purpose equipment) as well as project crew.

SCOPE: Retrieval of foundations and installation equipment with shear leg Gulliver from Pacific Osprey

After a crane accident onboard the main installation vessel Pacific Osprey from SBO all project equipment including foundations as well as NMS and lifting tools had to be recovered from onboard Pacific Osprey by means of a feasible crane vessel (Gulliver). Lifting engineering and method statements as well as a contingency plan have been developed.

Lead of mobilization works for sea-fastening of MPs, TPs and ACs as well as project installation equipment.

Coordination of subcontractors and daily planning of lifting and welding works.

Preparation and development of logistic barge feeder concept for transportation of foundation from Rotterdam to Eemshaven. General project preparation for  installation vessel (Pacific Osprey) including deck-layouts, lifting drawings, Method Statements, ITPs, Risk Assessments etc.

SCOPE: Jacket installation with sheerleg Taklift 4

Installation of Jackets for the BALTIC 2 project with sheerleg Taklift 4 (Boskalis). Load-out of jackets in Sweden,  Trelleborg.

SCOPE: Jacket installation and logistic concept

Jacket installation, including pre-piling  (includes preparation phase, installation, grouting and remedial works). Management of nearshore and offshore logistics of barge feeder concept, vessel selection and BIMCO contract negotiations. Follow-up on MWS and BSH comment sheets. Creation of Safe Working Procedures, RAs and general project documentation.

Responsible for model tests of gravity based foundation (Gravitas) projects, floating foundations (BlueH) as well as ship model tests of jack-up vessels.
